The Federation of Liberian Youth as an umbrella organization of all youth and student groups in Liberia is calling on young people from ages 18-35 across Liberia to turnout and register to obtain their Voter registration card to enable them participate in the upcoming electoral processes in Liberia.

The Federation of Liberian Youths (FLY) has renewed its commitment to the empowerment of Liberian Youths through her new initiative of re-orienting them towards entrepreneurship and new employment generation culture as a new impetus towards the reduction of unemployment among Liberian Youths.In pursuant of this, and in support of the newly introduced School To Work project, FLY has commenced a process of making Liberian youths to have access to various helpful literature, books and video materials that will enlighten them on various approaches to employment and income generation, while laying a foundation for a new labor culture of improved personal effectiveness and efficiency among Liberian Youths at work. As a first step on this agenda, FLY plans to put copies of the book “From School To Work” in the libraries of all youth associations and high schools in Liberia. The Federation stated in a release sent to our Youth Desk that this program is aimed at ensuring that all youth associations and high schools across Liberia have copies of this book in their libraries. “This is to guarantee an immediate access of teachers and students to this book, thereby creating an opportunity for all high school students in Liberia to be part of, and benefit from this new employment, thinking initiative,” the release said.
