Mr. Augustus M. Zayzay, Jr. was born unto the union of Mr. and Mrs. Augustus M. Zayzay, Sr. on April 7, 1980 in Montserrado County, Republic of Liberia.  He stated his primary education at the St. Joseph Catholic Mission School in Voinjama City, Lofa County, where he remained up to the civil war. After the war, he enrolled at the Jimmy Jolocon, St. Kizito and William Booth High Schools and graduated in 2000.  After few months, he matriculated at the Don Bosco Polythenic, now called Stella Maris Polythenic where he studied Accounting.  After a semester, he transferred at the AME University to further his academic sojourn. After four years of hard studied, he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Magnu cum laude in Accounting and Economics. Not been satisfied with that level of education, he matriculated at the University of Liberia in 2007, where he studied Business Administration and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance.  Mr. Zayzay also obtained an Advance Certificate in Financial Management and Auditing from the West African Institute of Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM) in Logos, Nigeria in July, 2009.  Currently, he is working on his professional Accounting Certification called (ATSWA) which is offer by the Accounting bodies of West Africa (ABWA).
Leadership Experience
Mr. Zayzay has over the years manifested a great deal of successful leadership skills both at the community and the national level.  While he was at the AME University, he served as the sophomore class President, Secretary General and President of the AME University Student Union (AMEUSU).  Base on his exemplary leadership skills, he won the Bishop Adam Richardson Leadership Award in 2006. This award is an annual award given by the AME University to the most astute student who has exhibited a great deal of leadership. He also served as the President of the Private Universities Student Association (PUSA) in 2005.  While President of PUSA, Mr. Zayzay succeeded in playing a very vital role in the revamping of the Liberian National Student Union (LINSU), where he served as the Director of National Affairs. He also served as the 1st vice president of FLY and currently, he is the President of the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY).

Professional Career
As an Accountant and Financial expert, Mr. Zayzay has served both in the private and public sectors where he served as Procurement Officer, Accountant, Budget Analyst, Financial Consultant and is a former Director of the internal audit Department Ministry of Information Culture & Tourism. Presently, Mr. Zayzay is a lecturer of Accounting and Financial Management at the AME University and the University of Liberia.
